Habitat and JD Waters Mapping
SummitWest provided wildlife habitat and vegetation community mapping and a jurisdictional waters delineation in support of pressure testing for a segment of the Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) pipeline.
SummitWest provided full project management, study design and GIS development, field staffing, and report writing for the Rincon SoCalGas L4000 Hydrotest project. This multi-month project required contributions from a talented team of SummitWest project managers, qualified wildlife biologists, jurisdictional waters delineators, and GIS analysts. Field work included habitat mapping for 22 species of sensitive wildlife and plant species, nesting bird surveys, mapping of 20 discrete vegetative communities, and jurisdictional waters mapping.
